Leo Hostel is located in Agua street (also called Ribadeo Street) in Villafranca del Bierzo, a town declared Historic Artistic Heritage. It is a place of passage for pilgrims on the Camino de Santiago.
 

In this street there are several palaces and houses with stone fronts. The whole street is an authentic museum of heraldry. It is worth noting the Álvarez de Toledo Palace-Marqueses de Villafranca- (17th century), Torquemada Palace (17th century) and the small Moorish house of the 15th century. In this street we also find the Convent and Church of San José and Omaña Chapel that once belonged to a palace that burned last century. Fr Martín Sarmiento and the writer Enrique Gil y Carrasco were born here.
 

Leo hostel is an old house, completely restored, perfectly prepared for a well-deserved rest after a long day of pilgrimage.

The hostel is opened from March until November included.
