Bierzo Enoturismo presents the cultural and oenological heritage of the Region in the Fair of Valladolid

Misericordia Bello: We are a wine tourism power and the expectations are of great growth.
Bierzo Enoturismo currently has circa 100 partners in lodging, wineries, restaurants, shops, museums, town halls and tourist information offices.

Castles, monasteries and medieval hermitages; an unspoilt nature with Las Médulasas a World Heritage Site and Los Ancares as a Biosphere Reserve or the monumental villages of The Way of Saint James, shape together with the great gastronomic and oenological offer, the main differential values that Bierzo Enoturismo will presenttomorrow, Thursday 23, in the International Fair of Inland Tourism (Feria Internationcl del Turismo de Interior INTUR).

INTUR will dedicate the weekend to wine tourism with the creation of a specific space to promote the culture of wine among the audience. In the booth The Routes of the Wine from Castile and León (Las Rutas del Vino de Castilla y León), Bierzo Enoturismo will inform the traveller and the travel agencies about its wide range of proposals for sustainable tourism such as getaways to wine-growing areas, visits to wineries, training and a gastronomic offer based on the high quality of the products from El Bierzo.

Let’s talk about the quality; we want to place value on the immense cultural and wine tourism heritage of El Bierzo to increase the perception consumers have of our wines and us. INTUR is a great occasion to get closer to the traveller of the 21st century, who is well-prepared and demanding, and who looks for uplifting experiences that will enrich him culturally. In this sense, El Bierzo is a wine tourism power and the prospects are of great growth, pointed out Misericordia Bello, president of Bierzo Enoturismo.
